Update on defender's injury.

The club has confirmed that John Egan has returned to Sunderland after suffering a broken leg whilst on loan at Bradford City.

Egan will now be assessed by the SAFC medical team before embarking on a programme of rehabilitation.

SAFC would like to extend its thanks to Bradford City for the swift and professional manner in which they dealt with the situation.
