“SAFC” means Sunderland Association Football Club Limited; “AEG” means AEG Live (UK) Ltd; “the Winner” means the person who is chosen as the winning entrant to the competition; “the Promoter” means Sunderland Association Football Club Limited; ”NEL” means the North East Live Concert to be staged at The Stadium of Light, Sunderland, SR1 5SU on 22nd June 2013; “Competition Period” means the dates between 18th March 2013 and 30th April 2013 (inclusive); “Official Ticket Agents” means See Tickets, AXS.com, Ticketmaster, AEGlive.co.uk, Ticketline, Ticket Factory, Eventim, Gigantic, View Tickets and Venue Sunderland.
2.1 All persons purchasing a ticket for NEL during the Competition Period, will be entered into a free prize draw for this “money can’t buy prize”;
2.2 Additionally, all persons who have purchased tickets between 6th February and the Competition Period will be entered into the draw.
3.1 This competition is open to all persons who purchase (or have purchased) a ticket for NEL during the period referred to in clause 2 hereof from either SAFC or their Official Ticket Agents;
3.2 Persons under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required;
3.3 Employees (and members of their immediate family) of SAFC, their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter.
4. Rules to participate
4.1 All entrants must have purchased a ticket to NEL during the relevant period from SAFC or from an Official Ticket Agent. No additional purchase is necessary.
4.2 There is no limit to the number of entries which can be made by a participant. Each time a ticket is purchased during the Competition Period that purchaser’s name will go into the draw. Multiple purchases of tickets at the same time will constitute one entry.
4.3 The Winner consents to SAFC and/or AEG using the Winner’s details (and those of their guest) including any photography, names and quotes obtained from them utilising the prize, being used on SAFC and AEG’s promotional channels both printed and digital.
4.4 Tickets purchased after the Competition Period will not be entered into the draw.
4.5 The winning entry will be chosen at random by SAFC. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.1 The Winner will receive, courtesy of SAFC this money can’t buy prize, of 2 (two) Golden Tickets for some of the best seats in the house from which to watch this musical spectacular; food and drink in the Hospitality Suite on the 3rd Floor at the Stadium of Light; a chance to meet and greet the artist of their choice from those performing; signed merchandise by such artist; hotel accommodation and travel to and from the NEL venue (within the United Kingdom) for the winner and their guest.
5.2 There are no alternatives to the prize. The prize is as stated and is non-transferrable. If, due to circumstances beyond the control of SAFC, the event is unable to proceed, SAFC reserve the right to substitute the prize for a similar prize at a later date.
6.1 The Winner will be notified by SAFC’s Marketing Manager as soon as practicable after the draw has taken place.
6.2 If the Winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by SAFC then SAFC reserve the right to select an alternative Winner from the entries to the competition.
6.3 Notification of the winning entry will be posted on www.SAFC.com, the official website of SAFC, and the official SAFC Twitter account, after the close of the competition
7. General Conditions
7.1 By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter. Copies of these Terms and conditions can be obtained on request, in writing, to the Promoter. 8. Data protection
8.1 In order to participate in the competition participants must provide certain personal information. This personal information is collected and processed for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it.
8.2 The Promoter shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information.
8.3 In entering into the competition, you agree that SAFC may use your data for promotional purposes. SAFC will not pass your data onto any third parties.
This Competition and the rules are governed by English Law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
