Forward struggling with injury ahead of friendly test.
Stephane Sessegnon is a doubt ahead of Sunderland's trip to Derby with an ankle injury, manager Martin O'Neill has revealed.
The Beninese forward picked up the problem in training on Monday and is set to go for a scan.
Sessegnon is yet to appear in the pre-season having remained behind alongside Ahmed Elmohamady when the team travelled to Sweden last weekend.

But O'Neill is hopeful that the former PSG man will be available when the Black Cats face Leicester City this weekend.
"Sessegnon hurt his ankle in training yesterday and I don't know whether he will make Wednesday's night's game," O'Neill said.
"Hopefully he will be okay for Saturday's match. He's actually going for a scan this afternoon.
"Elmohamady is back and not doing too badly, so he should be in action.
"We'll see. We've got a couple of injuries to contend with.
"Phil Bardsley has had a setback too which is a shame, but whatever comes and goes we'll have to get ourselves ready for Saturday week."
