Cattermole impressed by new arrival.
Lee Cattermole says Louis Saha's experience and leadership qualities will be a big asset in the Sunderland dressing room.
Saha, 34, joined Sunderland on a free transfer last week and made his debut as a substitute during the 0-0 draw at Arsenal.
Cattermole, the Sunderland captain, has been impressed with the former Everton striker and says he's a good addition to a dressing room already filled with leaders.
“Louis has got great experience, you could see that even before the game talking to the lads in the dressing room,” he said.
“He’ll be great for us. Coming on and holding the ball up for us helped because I thought we got deeper and deeper. I think he’ll be a great signing for us.
“We’ve got experience through the team with the like of John O’Shea and Carlos Cuellar, Titus Bramble and Matt Kilgallon. All of them are big talkers.”
