Knott joins Bradford

Midfielder agrees move to Valley Parade.

Midfielder Billy Knott is set to join League One side Bradford City.

Knott, 21, will join the Bantams on July 1 when his contract with Sunderland expires.

He has signed a two-year deal with an option for City to extend the contract by a further year.

After joining Sunderland in the early stages of the 2010-11 season, finishing the campaign as the youth team’s top scorer.

Knott also had loan spells at AFC Wimbledon, Woking, Wycombe and Port Vale, making a combined 82 appearances and scoring 15 goals.
