Sunderland WFC poacher powers England into Euro final.
Sunderland WFC striker Beth Mead scored twice as England U19's beat Finland 4-0 to secure their place in the UEFA Women’s U19 Championship Final.
England took the lead on 15 minutes at Carmarthen Town FC as Mead kept her composure to lift Paige Williams’s chipped through ball over the on-rushing keeper.
Mo Marley's side then doubled their lead on 34 minutes as Williams converted from the spot after Nikita Parris had been brought down in the box.
A third goal arrived before half-time as Mead headed home from a Martha Harris cross, then Jess Sigsworth curled an effort in midway through the second half to make it four.
England will now face France in Saturday's final at Parc Y Scarlets in Llanelli, kick-off 3pm.
