Sunderland AFC can confirm that David Preece has left the Club with immediate effect.
A former Academy player, Preece returned to the Stadium of Light in August 2021 as Goalkeeping Coach and worked alongside Lee Johnson and Alex Neil during his time at the Club.
Preece played his part during a successful 2021-22 campaign, as SAFC earned promotion to the Sky Bet Championship via a Play-Off Final victory at Wembley Stadium in May.
