Aura IT have been working alongside Sunderland AFC throughout the 2021-22 season to provide first-class analysis technology across the club’s football operation.
The interactive technology is powered by Room 12 – a specialist leasing provider to Public Sector and Education – and can elevate retention levels by up to 30% by allowing players and staff to engage directly with analytical content.
Sunderland AFC’s Head of Data & Analysis, James Young, said: “Bringing in interactive technology allows us to take a step up the learning retention pyramid and it facilitates a great degree of dynamism in key analysis meetings, which can often be fast paced and raise unexpected questions. Traditionally, these would have to be taken away and revisited as the technology would not allow for it to be shared, but this will allow us to react and present responses to these questions in real-time.”
