Sunderland AFC has been deeply saddened to learn of the passing of its French scout, Fabrice Asensio, aged just 50.
A former footballer, Asensio had worked for the Black Cats since 2014 and was a popular figure among the club’s network of scouts.
The thoughts of everyone at Sunderland AFC are with Fabrice’s partner Marie, his family and all those who knew him, at this most difficult time.
