Supporters visiting the Stadium of Light on Saturday can enjoy all the usual pre-match entertainment in the Fan Zone.
A great addition to the matchday experience, the Fan Zone features bar and food outlets, local music talent, radio roadshows, a giant screen playing match highlights and classic games, along with a range of interactive activities, competitions and appearances from former and current players.
Anyone making a purchase from the food kiosks can be in with a chance of getting their food and drink for free with our special golden envelopes! All purchasers will receive an envelope and find out their fate inside - to pay or not to pay!
The Fan Zone will open two hours ahead of the visit of Arsenal, with north east band The Pale White set to provide the entertainment.
The Pale White are an alternative indie rock three piece consisting of brothers, Adam and Jack Hope, and Tom Booth.They are fast gaining attention for their direct and driving songs and a reputation for energetic, ferocious live shows.
The Fan Zone will be open from 10.30am until kick-off and then will reopen after the game, when fans will be able to take part in a special post-match man of the match shirt giveaway!
