Four of Sunderland AFC’s first five 2016-17 Premier League fixtures have been selected for live TV broadcast.
The Black Cats begin their Premier League campaign with an away trip to face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 13th August, with the kick-off now moved back to 5.30pm.
Sam Allardyce’s men will begin their tenth consecutive top-flight home campaign with a Wear-Tees derby against Middlesbrough. The game, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 20th August at 3pm, will now take place at 1.30pm on Sunday 21st August.
Sunderland’s second home fixture of the season, against Everton, has been moved from its original time of 3pm on Saturday 10th September, to 8pm on Monday 12th September.
The Black Cats’ trip to face Tottenham Hotspur in September has also been moved. The game which was due to take place on Saturday 17th September at 3pm, will now take place at 4.30pm on Sunday 18th September.
Ticket details for the games will be confirmed in due course.
Season cards for the 2016-17 Premier League season are still on sale at the Stadium of Light and an adult supporter can secure their seat for all 19 top flight games from £380, equating to just £20 a game.
Black Cats fans aged over 65 enjoy a special price of £280 for their seat less than £15 a game, whilst Sunderland’s next generation of fans enjoy some of the cheapest seats in football, with under 16s season cards only £79 – just over £4 a game.
Young adults aged under 22 can secure their seat for a special rate of £200 and the Stadium of Light’s popular Family Zone offers a fantastic value-for-money adult and junior (aged under 16) package for £405.
To make committing to a season card even easier, Sunderland fans can spread the cost of their season card over four phased payments. A 25% deposit is required at the time of purchase, followed by three equal Direct debit payments, in August, October and December, to cover the full cost of the season card.
The scheme is available at no additional cost, with no fee or interest charged for the service.
