Fresh from supporting Primal Scream and Maximo Park, High Tide 15:47 will perform at the SAFC Fan Zone!
High Tide 15:47 began in 2013 as a two-piece between Steven Gordon (vocals, guitar) and Dan Murray (guitar), then playing drums. Nick Hodgson (bass) joined shortly after, and the band began to garner a healthy following in Newcastle, mixing noisy guitars with reverb-soaked vocals.
Then in 2016 the band doubled its line-up; adding Al Charnley (guitar), Cole Gilroy (drums) and Dan’s older brother Gaz (keys). Since then the band have went from strength to strength, incorporating pop sensibilities with powerfully layered keys and guitars.
The band have recently just completed their first ever UK tour and will now begin to plan for what will be a very busy 2017.
A great addition to the matchday experience, the Fan Zone features bar and food outlets, local music talent, radio roadshows, a giant screen playing match highlights and classic games, along with a range of interactive activities, competitions and appearances from former and current players.
Open two hours before kick-off, the area provides a relaxed environment for fans to soak up the matchday atmosphere and meet with fellow supporters.
