Hundreds of supporters enjoyed the company of SAFC’s 1973 FA Cup-winning legends on Friday night as a special talk-in was held at the Stadium of Light ahead of the Leicester City game.
Fans got to rub shoulders with Bobby Kerr, Dennis Tueart, Vic Halom, Ritchie Pitt, Jimmy Montgomery, Dick Malone and Micky Horswill, while fellow Black Cats legend Kevin Ball was compere for the evening.
The cup winners took a trip down memory lane and answered questions from fans – with Vic Halom also honouring the request to show off his famous goal-scoring legs!
A closely-contested quiz saw winners take home memorabilia from the famous cup run, with an auction and book signing taking place to raise funds for charity and the SAFC Former Players Association.
