Sunderland legend Jim Montgomery will continue to host his exclusive Legends tours at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light next season.
The 1973 FA Cup winner is proving as popular as ever with Sunderland fans and demand for the tours has seen new dates introduced for the 2016-17 season.
Supporters get the chance to meet one of the club’s all-time greats, along with a full tour of the stadium, including the dressing rooms, the manager’s office and the players’ tunnel area. Escorted by Monty throughout, fans will have the opportunity to speak to him and ask him questions.
Speaking about the tours, Monty said: “It’s been a joy and a privilege to do the tours and I’m delighted to be hosting some more, giving me the chance to meet more of our wonderful fans and giving them my own personal, guided tour of our magnificent stadium.
“I know the stadium tours have always been popular since the Stadium of Light opened, but hopefully these offer something just a bit different, and those that have been on my tours up to now certainly seem to have enjoyed it.”
The package includes a full stadium tour, a question and answer session with Jim Montgomery, refreshments in an executive box, a signed picture of the goalkeeping legend and a personalised certificate.
