1973 star in the hot seat this weekend.
Vic Halom will take to the Black Cats Bar ahead of the final home game of the season on Sunday.
The front man, who played an integral part in the club’s 1973 FA Cup success the same year he moved to Roker Park, will be taking part in a special pre-match chat.
Memorable goals against Manchester City and Arsenal in the famous cup run were particular highlights of Halom’s time on Wearside, though he was on the right track from the off with a goal on his Roker Park debut in a 4-0 Wear-Tees derby win over Middlesbrough.
His second game at Roker was, arguably, Halom’s finest moment in a red and white shirt as his blistering angled drive ended a quality move to not only knock favourites Manchester City out of the FA Cup but also to go down in club history as one of the greatest Sunderland goals.
Supporters can hear from Halom when he visits the Black Cats Bar at around 1.30pm on Sunday..
The pre-match chat is a part of matchdays in the Black Cats bar, fans can also enjoy a complimentary dish of the day, free matchday programme and take advantage of drinks offers.
