Have your picture with human statue as part of pre-match activity.
Supporters can enjoy some unique pre-match entertainment ahead of the Black Cats’ clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.
There will be a number of activities taking place at the Stadium of Light prior to kick off around the south east corner of the ground, for fans of all ages.
As part of the club’s 2014-15 season card campaign there will be a human statue for fans to have their photograph taken with.
The campaign is based around the concept of immortalising supporters in the same way that players throughout the club’s history have passed into legend.
Taking inspiration from the Bob Stokoe statue outside the Stadium of Light, the season card material sent to fans features images of supporters immortalised as stylised statues around the Stadium of Light.
Why not recreate the Stokoe statue? Or immortalise Fabio Borini’s trademark goal celebration? Whatever you decide make sure you share your pics with the club’s Twitter page, @SAFCOfficial, using #SAFCLegends.
The human statue will be just outside the Family Zone - near the Bob Stokoe Statue – from 1.30pm.
Ahead of Saturday’s game, Capital Radio return with their popular live roadshow with music, entertainment and prize giveaways including match tickets and North East Live tickets.
The Barclays ‘Thank You’ squad will also be in attendance. They’re at the game to chat to fans about their most memorable matchdays and are offering the chance to win signed SAFC memorabilia.
After the club’s hospitality dishes received the Red Tractor seal of approval, fans can enjoy taster samples from a catering van and be photographed with a life-size Massey Ferguson ‘Big Red’ tractor.
All activities take place around the south east corner of the stadium from 1pm.
