Piece of history showcased.
A new slice of Sunderland history returned home yesterday and you can see it with your very own eyes by attending one our superb stadium tours.
There are two new medals on display at the Stadium of Light, both of which were presented to Tom Hall over a century ago.
Hall was part of the 1912-13 championship winning side, scoring seven goals in 20 appearances, including one in a victory over Manchester United who would go on to finish fourth.
The same season also saw the Black Cats reach the FA Cup final for the first time, and although Hall did not feature he collected a second medal after playing a part in the reserve team’s Durham Challenge Cup success.
Both of these medals along with an unparalleled selection of Sunderland memorabilia are on view now at the Stadium of Light, so why not book now for as little as £10 for Adults and £5 for U16s.
