Barry Siddall

Siddall hits the Bar

Pre-match chat in safe hands.

Former Sunderland star Barry Siddall will take to the Black Cats Bar ahead of the Chelsea game this Saturday.

The ex-goalkeeper was the man handed the difficult task of taking over from legendary stopper Jimmy Montgomery between the sticks for Sunderland back in 1976.

Siddall went on to make just short of 200 appearances for the Lads during a six-year spell.

His time in red and white was a rollercoaster ride, with one relegation, a promotion and a nail-biting end of season that saw Sunderland hang on to their top-flight status by one place and two points.

Supporters can hear from Siddall when he visits the Black Cats Bar at around 1.30pm.

Ahead of every league game at the Stadium of Light, a special guest takes to the Black Cats Bar for a pre-match chat.

Fans can also enjoy a complimentary dish of the day, free matchday programme and take advantage of drinks offers in the Black Cats Bar every matchday.

Tickets are priced at £50, for more information call 0871 911 1500.
