Track down Samson and Delilah and win seats for SAFC v Cardiff.
Five lucky winners scored a pair of tickets each for Sunderland’s crunch clash with Cardiff after taking part in the exclusive #keepbelieving competition.
Loveable mascots Samson and Delilah are visiting different locations around the region this week, with fans tasked with finding them via clues on 103.4 Sun FM and the club’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts.
On Wednesday afternoon, the duo were successfully tracked down at the club’s official retail store in the Galleries Shopping Centre, Washington.
Amongst the winners was Lucy Manners (pictured). The 21-year-old, from Chester-le-Street, will be taking her boyfriend to Sunday’s game.
“I was at home, saw the clues on Twitter and thought I’d head down and give it a go,” Lucy told safc.com.
“It’s a nice initiative and definitely a big game. The fans can be the difference and we’ll keep believing!”
Fan Paul Chester was amongst the winners as well having also picked up the clues from Twitter.
The 26-year-old, from Fulwell, has been attending games since 1992 and has held a season card in the north west corner since the Stadium of Light opened in 1997.
“The fans will keep believing,” he said. “The last two results have given us a good opportunity and hopefully we can take it.”
Samson and Delilah are out and about on Thursday, Friday and Saturday – watch out for clues on the club’s Twitter (www.twitter.com/safcofficial) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/sunderlandafc) pages, as well as on 103.4 Sun FM.
