Former United and Boro man in hot-seat.
Former Middlesbrough and Manchester United legend Gary Pallister will be hitting the Black Cats Bar ahead of the game on Saturday.
Former defender Pallister kicked off his football career with boyhood heroes Middlesbrough and after making 156 League appearances over nearly five seasons, and helping them win promotion to the Football League Second Division and First Division, he moved to Manchester United in 1989 for a British record fee of £2.3 million.
After filling his trophy cabinet with four Premier League medals, three FA Cups, one League Cup, five Charity Shields and a UEFA Cup medal and UEFA Super cup medal, the much decorated defender returned to Teesside for a further three seasons before retiring in 2001.
Since he finished playing Pallister is a regular pundit on BBC and ITV and in 2010 he took on the role as Operations Director at Darlington FC, the club he had a short loan spell with back in 1985.
Ahead of every game at the Stadium of Light, a football legend takes to the Black Cats Bar for a pre-match talk-in.
Fans can also enjoy a complimentary dish of the day, free matchday programme and take advantage of drinks offers in the Black Cats Bar every matchday.
