SAFC legends to star in sports extravaganza.

Sports aficionados are being invited to join a host of greats from across the sporting spectrum, in a fantastic evening of entertainment at the Stadium of Light.

Ex-England cricket captain Paul Collingwood, Olympic silver medallist Steve Cram, Sunderland AFC legend Kevin Ball, former Black Cats boss Peter Reid and 1973 FA Cup-winning hero Jimmy Montgomery will all take part in the ‘SAFC Questions of Sport’ evening, pitting their wits and vast sporting knowledge against one another.

The evening will feature questions on all things Sunderland AFC and sport in general. Guests will take part in a table quiz during the evening, the winner of which will be invited to join one of the celebrity teams on stage for the main event.

Guests will enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival and a four course meal with coffee, followed by the SAFC Question of Sports quiz. Liverpudlian comedian Paul Boardman, son of Stan, will then take to the stage to round off the evening’s entertainment

SAFC Ambassador Jimmy Montgomery said: “I’m really looking forward to the evening. Being part of such an illustrious group of sports personalities will be fantastic and hopefully we can give the fans an evening of real entertainment and insight.”

SAFC Questions of Sport will be held at the Stadium of Light on Thursday 14 March. A limited number of places are available, priced at £38.50 per person.
