Second support act confirmed and stage timings.
Rock gods Bon Jovi arrive on Wearside this week and the US superstars have announced further support acts for the show at the Stadium of Light.
The multimillion record sellers bring their ‘Because We Can’ tour to Sunderland on Thursday 13 June, supported by the city’s very own The Futureheads as well as up and coming indie band, As Kings and Captains, who won the chance to perform on the world tour.
The thousands of fans heading to the home of Sunderland AFC for the concert this Thursday are encouraged to arrive early, with acts taking to the stage from early evening.
Bon Jovi will then perform all their hits such as Living on a Prayer and You Give Love a Bad Name, as well as the latest hits from their current album. Support acts will kick off the entertainment from around 5:45pm and the concert will last until 11pm.
On the day of the show the courtyards surrounding the stadium will be open from 2pm, allowing access to external catering and bar facilities before the main stadium doors open at 4pm. Concert goers can kick-off the shows with a selection of beverages including beers, wines, prosecco and alcopops in grand marquees, whilst catering facilities will offer a range of food from traditional burgers and pizzas, to Mexican and street food cuisine, along with other foods from across the world.
All show-times are approximate however and early arrival is advised.
Concert-goers are also reminded that the roads surrounding the Stadium of Light will be closed on the day of the concert and there will be no parking available.
