Entertain the kids this half-term

Book places for soccer courses during the school break.

The Foundation of Light have a range of activities for youngsters and families taking place across Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside this half-term.

The award-winning Football Development team have a fun programme of activities taking place next week for youngsters aged from 3 through to 14 years.

Little Dribblers for youngsters aged 3-5 years returns every day of the half-term break apart from Wednesday and there’s also the Little Dribblers' 'Big Day Out' taking place on Tuesday 19 and Friday 22.

A two-day disability coaching session runs Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 for disabled youngsters and their siblings from aged 5 upwards.

Soccer courses for youngsters aged 5-14 also return at venues across Sunderland, Washington and County Durham with the fast-expanding Girls’ Only session taking place Thursday 21 and Friday 22 February.

The Foundation of Light’s award winning Family Learning team are also running a free course during the half-term break.

The course will take place on the 18, 19 and 20 February from 10am-2pm based at Wellness@Harton Sports Centre, South Tyneside. Parents and children will have the opportunity to spend quality time together by participating in fun and games including football drills and skills. Families will need a packet lunch and also recommended to bring plenty of drinks.

Youngsters aged 4-13 are welcome at the session as long as they are accompanied by at least one family member aged 18+ years.

The Family Fun course is funded by South Tyneside ACL.
