Guests get first glimpse of 007's latest outing.
The stars came out for an exclusive premiere on Thursday evening in aid of the Foundation of Light.
James Bond’s new adventure, Skyfall, made its north-east debut at Boldon Cineworld, a day before its worldwide release.
Guests mingled freely with Sunderland stars ahead of the event, which was attended by players including Adam Johnson, captain Lee Cattermole and Sunderland’s very own 007, Seb Larsson.
Striker Fraizer Campbell said: “I’ve always been a fan of James Bond and I’ve seen quite a few of the films.
“I’ve really enjoyed the event – it’s a good bit of fun as well as raising money for a good cause.”
The event raised a considerable sum for the Foundation, which helps thousands of young people and adults across the region every year.
Phil King, the Foundation of Light’s head of commercial, added: “It was a great evening.
“The atmosphere was fantastic and it was excellent to secure the north-east premiere of Skyfall.
“It was great to see so many players attending and mixing with the guests. It has been special.”
