U18 Premier League: Young Black Cats travel to Wolves

Sunderland Under-18s return to league action on Saturday with an away trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers (1pm).

Jordan Moore's side are looking to continue their unbeaten run in the league.

Opposition

Wolves are currently eighth in the U18 Premier League having played 13, winning five, drawing six and losing five.

The Wanderers currently sit two places and six points above the Black Cats but have just one league win from their last five outings.

Their U18 side are currently led by development phase coach, Richard Walker.

The former defender made over 170 senior career appearances from 1999 to 2010, featuring 101 times for Crewe Alexandra.

Walker started his coaching career at Stoke City in 2009 before joining the Wolves Academy.

Fraser Harper is the team's top goalscorer this campaign with five goals in the last 10 appearances.

The two sides faced eachother at the Academy of Light in October with the Black Cats coming out 3-1 victors.

U18 Premier League

The Lads currently sit 10th in the league having jumped out the bottom three with a 3-1 win over Manchester City.

Manchester United currently lead the way with 14 wins from 14 games, followed by Manchester City and Liverpool.

Blackburn Rovers and Everton sit bottom of the pile with just two wins in their opening fixtures.
