Sunderland AFC Under-11 and Under-12s travelled to Nottingham Forest to take part in a multi-sport festival which consisted of football, rugby, basketball and handball.
Mixed together with Forest academy players, teams competed to see who could be crowned champion of the event. Two of the Black Cats ended the day picking up individual accolades.
U11 and U12 cell lead, Joey Harries added: "This was a great opportunity to challenge our individuals with a variety of sports to take them out their comfort zone. It had a lot of positive impact on our lads from a physical and social point of view. It helped express the importance of transferable skills on their football and holistic development. A massive thank you to Nottingham Forest for their hospitality."
