Sunderland Under-21 winger Michael Spellman has signed for Blyth Spartans on a loan deal for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
The 20-year-old – who made his first-team debut in August and has recently impressed for the U21 side and on loan at Whitby Town – made his Blyth debut on Saturday afternoon. He drew the foul which won an ultimately decisive penalty in a 1-0 win over Leamington.
