Reserves to face Bishop Auckland

Sunderland's reserve side are set to face Bishop Auckland in friendly action later this month.

Sunderland's reserve side will travel to Bishop Auckland on Wednesday 18th January for a friendly fixture at the Two Blues' recently-built Heritage Park ground.

Keith Bertschin's men will take on Colin Myers' Northern League Division One side at 7pm, with tickets available on the gate prior to kick-off.

Entry will be priced at £5 for adults, £3 for senior citizens and under 16s and free for under 5s. All tickets are sold subject to ground regulations.

A Sunderland second string featuring goalkeeper Craig Gordon and defender Michael Turner made it four games unbeaten in all competitions on Wednesday with a 2-0 win away to Arsenal at the Gunners' London Colney training ground.

Bertschin's side are currently second in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North table, level on points with league leaders Manchester United.
