Local bands The Futureheads and Maximo Park will headline the two-day Split Festival at Ashbrooke Cricket Club later this month - and you can be there thanks to safc.com, who have kindly been donated tickets for the gig by The Futureheads!
Other big names from the region topping the bill include, Detroit Social Club, who will join Love Bites and Bruises, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Let's Buy Happiness, Lucas Renney and The Little Comets in the north east contingent.
It's not just bands that will be performing at the festival, there will be comedians, street performers, face painters, jugglers, fire-eaters and fireworks all playing a part in the extravaganza.
This year's Split, that takes place over the weekend of 25 September, is heading towards sell-out, but no need to worry, enter safc.com's competition to be in with a chance of getting your hands on a pair of tickets.
