Away-day joy for Healy

Sunderland's David Healy played as Northern Ireland got their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign off to a winning start.

David Healy finished on the winning side as Northern Ireland started their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign with an impressive win in Slovenia.

Substitute Corry Evans netted the only goal, scoring with his first touch from Craig Cathcart's cross 20 minutes from time.

Having struggled for international game time of late, Healy was given the nod up front alongside Warren Feeney, playing the entire 90 minutes.

And the men in green held on to their lead to secure a vital win, which was achieved without George McCartney who missed the game through injury.

Elsewhere, Darren Bent didn't get onto the pitch as he was an unused substitute during England's routine 4-0 win over Bulgaria.
