Sunderland City Council and Sunderland AFC have teamed up with England Beach Soccer (EBS) to bring International Beach Soccer to Sunderland for the first time.

Four top international teams including England, Mexico and Greece, will compete over the three day event.

The International Beach Soccer Cup will kick off today at the Stadium of Light and continue over Saturday and Sunday.

As well as the excitement of the Beach Soccer, kids can also join in the Disney XD roadshow as well as loads more activities.

Families can make a 30% saving on tickets for the event with a pass for two adults and two children costing just £10 for a whole day's entertainment.
