Steve Bruce has included midfielder Lee Cattermole in his starting eleven for tonight's game versus Bolton (KO 7.45pm).

Cattermole passed a late fitness test on a hamstring injury and lines up alongside Lorik Cana. Steed Malbranque returns in place of Kieran Richardson.

Sunderland are otherwise unchanged from the side which drew 0-0 with Fulham at the Stadium of Light.
