Busy midweek for stars

Lorik Cana is amongst the Sunderland players who are likely to be in international action tonight.

Several Sunderland players look set for action with their respective national sides in a busy programme of games this evening.

The main focus will be on the Qemal Stafa Stadium in Tirana, where Albania's Lorik Cana will take on George McCartney, David Healy and their Northern Ireland team-mates. Youngster Trevor Carson is also in the Irish squad.

Craig Gordon and Alan Hutton have been confirmed in Craig Levein's first-ever Scotland line-up as they prepare to take on the Czech Republic at Hampden Park. The Czechs will also be opponents later in the year as the two teams have been drawn in the same Euro 2012 qualifying group.

Paulo Da Silva is likely to line up for Paraguay as they take part in a friendly against Athletic Club de Bilbao, while David Meyler is on duty for Eire U21 against Armenia.
