Andy Reid has been selected as the fans' man of the match against Aston Villa - his fifth overall poll win of the season.

The Irish winger came closest to scoring for Sunderland with a chance in either half as the Black Cats went down 2-0 on Wearside.

Reid finished with just over a quarter of all votes (25.3%), placing him ahead of Lorik Cana (19.3%) and Jordan Henderson (18.2%).

Nyron Nosworthy - a winner against Aston Villa - finished just outside the top three with 13.4% of the vote.
