Bid for players' poppy shirts

Sunderland's players wore unique 'poppy' shirts in last Saturday's game against West Ham and now you can own one of them!

Sunderland's players wore specially-produced shirts for the game against West Ham at the Stadium of Light last weekend.

The club once again showed its support for Remembrance Day commemorations and the 'Help the Heroes' campaign.

The Black Cats stars wore the exclusive, one-off shirts (pictured here with Michael Turner) in the 2-2 draw with the Hammers.

The shirts will be signed by the individual players and auctioned here on safc.com next week, following Remembrance Sunday.

So whether you want goal-scorer Kieran Richardson's top or the shirt of Lorik Cana's back, stay tuned to safc.com next week.

All proceeds raised from the auction will support both the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Fund and the Sunderland AFC Foundation, the club's own registered charity.
