Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn rescued a point for Leicester City as he scored his second goal for the club on Saturday.
Waghorn, 19, smashed home City's equaliser in the M69 derby against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
The frontman - at the Walkers' Stadium until January - came off the bench on the hour and levelled with 19 minutes remaining, collecting a flick from fellow sub Steve Howard and smashing the ball home in spectacular fashion.
Elsewhere, Teemu Tainio played 67 minutes of Birmingham's game at Burnley before being replaced by Kevin Phillips. Blues went down 2-1 at Turf Moor as the Clarets maintained their 100% home record.
Ipswich's Jack Colback was an unused substitute as Roy Keane's Tractor Boys were sunk by a last-minute Jon Macken goal at Barnsley.
In League One, Roy O'Donovan was an unused substitute as Southend prevailed 2-0 at Stockport, though Jean-Yves M'voto missed the game through injury.
And Darlington's struggles in League Two continued with a 1-0 home defeat to Macclesfield. David Dowson was an unused sub and Jamie Chandler served the second game of a three-match suspension.
