SAFC TV's James Craggs has just arrived back and he's been enjoying the company of a couple of legends.  Jimmy Montgomery and Dick Malone have both sat down for exclusive interviews, so watch the SAFC TV section for these appearing soon!  James will be down at the Academy tomorrow bringing you all the latest from the gaffer.  SV

1419: Just updated our Conference and Banqueting department's Latest Offers and Promotions page - some cracking discounts for season ticket holders on there, including Christmas nights and if you're looking to book a wedding or a christening - it's definitley worth a look. KS

1412: Accumulator bets have been placed on Boylesports.com ahead of tonight's Football League action.  Let's hope the media team come up big!  We've also been debating whether Manchester United's midweek game against Wolfsburg will have a negative effect on them ahead of Saturday's game.  No, it won't is the conclusion.  My accumulator for tonight: Arsenal, Bristol City, Sheffield United, Leeds and Millwall to win.  No pressure, lads. SV

1334: James is away with Mr Montgomery and we're still in the office.  Great response to both competitions - flights and tickets for the Liverpool game courtesy of Aer Arann and a pair of seats for the West Ham match.  Get entering - webmaster@safc.com!  Also, the Digicel youngsters flew back to the Caribbean yesterday after spending a week at the club.  Nice to have you here, lads. 1306: Plenty of player news and views tomorrow as safc.com heads down to the Academy.  We should be hearing from Darren Bent as he looks ahead to the Manchester United game.  From the opposition camp, look out for a chat with Gary Neville as part of Saturday's big match build-up.  SV

1257:
International news just in! No less than nine Black Cats have been called up to represent their countries next month. Marton Fulop's Hungary are in with a shout of World Cup qualification, whilst Lee Cattermole will join the England U21 set-up ahead of their two games. KS

1123: Why not share your holiday snaps with safc.com. We love to see Sunderland's red and white stripes on their travels. So far in our Wear Around the World section we've had fans emailing in from Malaysia, the home of both Milan football clubs and two Sunderland fans encountered a sloth on their trip to Costa Rica. Flown the SAFC flag anywhere interesting this summer? - Drop webmaster@safc.com an email with the pick of your snaps! KS

1117: Just spoken to SAFC head of medical Dr Rae about crocked midfielder Jordan Cook, while we've had confirmation that Steve Bruce will be meeting with us early tomorrow morning.  It'll be an interesting chat with the gaffer ahead of the Man U game.  Also, I've just finished talks with one particular firm regarding some cool competition prizes for November.  That's all boxed off - happy days.  SV

1042: Classic YouTube action.  If you haven't seen our Cana 'I Am Ironman' video yet, it's well worth a look.  Speaking of the skipper, we'll be collaring him later this week for an exclusive chat ahead of the Man United game.   Why not read his thoughts about the captaincy here.  SV

1035: It's legends day today.  SAFC TV's James Craggs is off to see Jimmy Montgomery later today, so all the talk in the office is about what we're going to ask the great man.  Any ideas?  webmaster@safc.com or @SAFCOfficial on Twitter.  SV

0923: Great result for the reserves yesterday, 2-1 at Scunthorpe.  Ryan Noble's on fire at the moment, with 13 goals already for the season.  Even better, the young lad has been a Sunderland fan all his life and his favourite player is Kevin Phillips.  SV

0915: Talking of Twitter, if you're not following us yet, do so now!  We're planning some exclusive Twitter competitions soon so get involved!  To interact with us via email, it's webmaster@safc.com.  We'll publish as many of your comments as we can throughout the day, every weekday.  Oh, and it's a sunny start to the day on Wearside, as you can see from our view from the office window below.  SV
