The Vamps to play North East Live

The UK’s newest boyband are set to get the party started on Wearside when they kick off a star studded North East Live pop extravaganza.

The Vamps, who are currently supporting McFly in their UK tour, will head to the Stadium of Light for the region’s biggest ever pop concert on Saturday 22 June, where they will open the highly anticipated pop concert which already includes superstars such as JLS, The Wanted, Rita Ora and many more.

The four piece band, recently signed by Universal records who are made up from Bradley Will Simpson, James McVey, Tristan Evans and Connor Ball became internet sensations after recording their covers of hit singles by One Direction and are set to take the music world by storm in 2013.

Tickets are still available for the family-friendly music extravaganza and are priced from just £25 (see below for full ticket information) with a number of hospitality packages also available.

Doors open from 1pm with a funfair, fun family-friendly activities and music, with the main show commencing at 2pm.

Tickets priced from just £25 are on sale now!
