Defender looking forward to Easter test.
Titus Bramble says Sunderland will be glad to return to league action this weekend following the international break.
Bramble has been amongst a number of players who have remained on Wearside while their colleagues are away with their respective countries.
“After the game against Norwich we wanted another game straight away, but it wasn’t to be with the fixture list,” he said.
“It’s been a long couple of weeks without a game.”
Manchester United are this weekend’s visitors and make the journey north boasting a comfortable 15-point lead at the top of the table.
Bramble admits a tough test is in prospect against a “fantastic” team, but feels his side are capable of pulling off a positive result.
“You never know in this league and that’s why it’s the best league in the world,” he said. “Anyone can beat anyone.
“It was a shame we didn’t start well [at Old Trafford earlier in the season], but we played well for the last half-hour.
“Manchester United have a fantastic squad and whatever team they put out will be full of internationals.”
