Winger seals permanent move.

Winger Ahmed Elmohamady has joined Hull City on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal at the KC Stadium having enjoyed two successful loan spells with the Tigers last season.

Elmohamady initially joined City on a temporary basis in August 2012 and made 23 appearances, scoring once, before being recalled to Wearside in mid-January.

He returned to Steve Bruce’s side on transfer deadline day until the end of the campaign, playing a further 18 games and netting two goals as the Tigers won promotion to the Barclays Premier League.

Elmohamady was also voted as Hull’s player of the year.

The Egyptian international initially joined Sunderland on loan in summer 2010 during Bruce’s time in charge on Wearside.

He completed a permanent move 10 months later and made a total of 61 appearances for the club, scoring once.
