'Karlsson ready to do what it takes' - Seb
Seb Larsson says fellow Swede David Moberg Karlsson has settled in well to life on Wearside.
Moberg Karlsson, a winger who can also play up front, joined the club from IFK Goteborg last month.
The 19-year-old travelled with his new team-mates to Italy and has been making good progress at the club's pre-season training camp.
“He has settled in really well, like all the new boys have,” said Larsson, who is entering his third season with the Black Cats.
“I've spoken a bit to him and I think he's been pleasantly surprised. He came to me and said the group was really nice.
“I asked him if he expected anything else. We're gelling as a group and all the new lads have settled in well.
“That's another important thing in pre-season.”
Moberg Karlsson is rated amongst Sweden's brightest talents and watched Larsson – an international regular – as he was coming through the ranks as a young player.
And Larsson says the new boy's talent is matched by his work ethic.
“He's come in with a great attitude and is ready to work hard and fight for what he feels is a great opportunity,” he explained.
“He is ready to do what it takes to succeed.”
