Factfile: Elhadji Ba

All you need to know about French starlet.

-              Born in Paris, Frace on 5th March 1993.

-              Joined Le Havre’s academy in 2007.

-              Operates mainly as a central midfielder

-              His nickname is La Manip which translates to 'the manipulator' 

-              Stands at 6’0’’ tall

-              He made his Le Havre ‘B’ debut in 2010 and played 22 games during the 2010-11 campaign.

-              El Hadji made his Le Havre first team debut in February 2012 in 3-1 win over Guingamp.

-              After making his first-team debut, Ba starred for France U19’s in their UEFA European Championship qualification matches.

-              Last season Ba added 15 further first-team appearances and scored his first goal in a 3-0 victory over Tours in Ligue 2.

-              Ba was part of the France U19 side that reached the semi-finals of the U19 European Championships before losing out to Spain on penalties.

-              He has been capped twice at U20 level too, making his debut in a 2-0 win over Portugal in February 2013.
