New signing can't wait to get going.
New signing Ondrej Celustka will be focused on working hard as he looks to make the step into Sunderland’s first team.
The Czech defender completed a season-long loan move from Turkish side Trabzonspor on Monday ahead of the start of the new season.
Celustka is raring to go and is hoping to be involved when Sunderland face Fulham at the Stadium of Light this Saturday (KO 3pm - tickets still available).
And he’ll be putting in the graft to make sure he’s in as good shape as possible should head coach Paolo Di Canio give him the nod.
“I am looking forward, of course, to the game,” Celustka said following his move.
“It’s just a [few] days, not a long time. I have to be ready as quickly as will be possible.
“I will see; it’s a question of if the head coach will put me in the first 11 players [on Saturday].”
