Adam Reed played 90 minutes for York City as the Minstermen won their first game under Nigel Worthington on Easter Monday.
Reed, who joined York on loan last week, played his second game for Worthington’s side as they defeated Plymouth Argyle 2-0 at Bootham Crescent.
Goals from Ashley Chambers and Richard Cresswell moved City within a point of Plymouth in the relegation battle at the bottom of League Two.
Elsewhere, Jordan Pickford’s Alfreton Town pulled five points clear of the relegation zone in the Conference Premier with a 2-0 win away at Southport.
