Black Cats defender John O’Shea is expected to skipper Giovanni Trapattoni’s side for their games with Germany and Faroe Islands.

While David Meyler, Keiren Westwood and James McClean have also been named in the squad.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet could add to his Belgium caps in the forthcoming clashes with Serbia and Scotland, whilst Sebastian Larsson has linked up with Sweden ahead of their crunch ties with Faroe Islands and Germany.
