MON happy with Cuellar progress.
Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill took time to pay tribute to Carlos Cuellar following the Spaniard’s first goal for the Black Cats in the win over Fulham at the weekend.
He puts his heart and soul into every game.

The defender could not have chosen a better moment to notch his first goal for the club when he restored Sunderland’s lead moments after Mladen Petric had pulled the Cottagers level.
Cuellar, who made the switch to the Stadium of Light this past summer, also turned in a steady display at the back and has made nine appearances this season in one of the Barclays Premier League’s meanest defences.
O’Neill said: “When you consider that we got Carlos Cuellar on a free transfer you realise that it was a very good deal for a very good player.
“He puts his heart and soul into every game,” the manager continued. “He’s very much becoming a crowd favourite.”
