Striker's step-dad is huge fan.
Steven Fletcher says his family being Sunderland supporters was a major factor in his decision to move to the Stadium of Light.
The powerful Scotland striker signed last Friday for an undisclosed fee from Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers following weeks of speculation.
And the 25-year-old can't wait to make his Black Cats bow in front of the red and white faithful, including his Sunderland-mad step-father.
Fletcher said: "I've got family up here so they've been telling me every day when I've spoken to them about the Sunderland supporters since I was first linked with the club.
"They're Sunderland fans as well so that's a bonus, and I'm looking forward to them coming and watching me at the Stadium of Light.
"My step-dad is a big Sunderland fan and I think he'll be getting my name on the back of his shirt!"
