Development squad members head to Hong Kong.

A Sunderland side has jetted off to Hong Kong ahead of the HK Soccer Sevens tournament.

Coach Kevin Ball is leading a 10-man squad, who departed the UK on Tuesday evening.

Adam Mitchell and Billy Knott, who made their senior debuts as substitutes against Spurs last weekend, are included.

Sunderland have been paired with Manchester City, Singapore Cricket Club and the Yau Yee League Select in the group stage.

They will have a couple of days to acclimatise before the two-day competition gets underway on Saturday.
