Former striker looks ahead to Stoke game.
I think everyone was on cloud nine after the Everton game and maybe we got a bit carried away.
It was back to earth with a bump against Villa but after four games played under the new gaffer I think most people would have been happy with six points.
Everything that could have gone wrong for us last week did.
Everyone who has played football knows those games can happen – hopefully we can put it right against Stoke now.
They have put a lot into their last couple of games and might believe they've got what they need.
Hopefully they will take their foot off the gas a little but we have to make sure we do the right things. A performance like the ones against Newcastle or Everton will see us home.
I'm certain Paolo will have got in and amongst the squad and will have them absolutely fired up for this game.
I have never seen so many fans still in the ground to see the boss at the end of the game as I saw against Everton. Paolo is box office.
On a different note it was fantastic to see the under-18s get through to the play-offs.
They knew what they needed to do [beat Liverpool] and they did a very professional job and played well.
The youngsters will be buzzing and it's great to see their season extended. I wish them all the best!
