One lucky Sunderland fan got to run out at St James’ Park with the team ahead of their 3-0 victory over local rivals Newcastle United.

It was Harry’s first visit to the ground and a very memorable one at that.

The youngster had the privilege of warming up on the pitch and visiting the players in the dressing room.

He also got to accompany the teams on the pitch in front of a sell-out crowd.

Following the game Harry told safc.com that he’d had an amazing day: “It was fantastic.

“I loved visiting the dressing room, meeting the players and sitting in the dug-out.

“My favourite players are Simon Mignolet and Adam Johnson and it was great to meet Paolo Di Canio, too.

“I’d like to thank everyone who made the day possible – and I also told Danny Graham that I want to be Sunderland’s number nine when I grow up!”
